Representatives of the “three-headed war party” (Kocharian–Karapetyan–Tsarukyan — ed.) are competing with each other, speaking about revising the peace terms and claiming they want to make them better, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said during his speech at the parliament, APA reports.
The Armenian leader stated that revising the terms does not necessarily mean they will become better.
“Today, the forces demanding a revision of the terms are appearing with maps covering Karabakh and surrounding districts, as well as flags symbolizing them. The development of this logic means inevitable war,” he noted.
Pashinyan also stressed that those calling for Armenia not to be limited to its current territory are also pushing the country toward war: “Other forces, under the same symbols and slogans, state that Armenia should not be limited to its internationally recognized territory of 29,743 square kilometers. The development of this logic will also inevitably lead to war.”
Pashinyan added that they have already seen the bitter consequences of such logic in earlier stages of their history.
