USAIDâ€™s five-year strategy on supporting Armeniaâ€™s development introduced to Armenia

The five-year strategy of supporting the development of Armenia worked out by the USAID was introduced to the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia Tigran Sargsyan by the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the United States to the Republic of Armenia John Heffern and the director of the USAID Mission to Armenian Karen Hilliard, APA reports quoting ARMENPRESS.

The director of the USAID Mission to Armenian Karen Hilliard stated that the U. S. Government wants to sign a new agreement with the Government of the Republic of Armenian on programs regarding democracy and administration. Within the framework of the agreement the USAID is considering granting Armenia financial aid of USD 32 million for the implementation of democratic and administrational reforms in the country during the coming 5 years.
