Passenger plane crashes in Moscow - <span style="color: red;">UPDATED

Moscow. Farid Akberov – APA. A Russian Tupolev Tu-204 medium-haul airliner overshot the runway while landing at Moscow’s Vnukovo airport and caught fire on Saturday, said the Interior Ministry, APA reports quoting RIA Novosti.

The cause of the incident was not immediately clear, the ministry press service said.

No casualties were reported according to the preliminary information of the Russian Interior Ministry.

The plane may have been carrying at least 12 passengers and 4 crews. It was flying in from the Czech Republic. There is no official information on casualties during the incident.

However, Russian news agencies reported quoting witnesses of the incident that 1 person killed, several people were injured during the incident.
