Baku. Anakhanim Hidayatova – APA. 2.6% rise in foodstuff prices was recorded in Armenia in November as compared with October, APA reports quoting Arka news agency. Armenia’s National Statistical Service reports that the rise was attributable mainly to 2.8%-21.7% increase in prices for eggs, fruits, vegetables and potatoes. Prices for bakery products showed a 0.6% rise in November against October, mainly due to increased prices for flour (1.2%-2.3%), pasta (3.1%) and wheat (1.8%). In 9 cities under review prices for baked goods rose by an average of 0.1-3.3%; decline was recorded only in one town (0.6%). A 0.3% rise was recorded in price for baked goods in the capital.
