The Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) is establishing unified missile defense system, said Valeriy Gerasimov, Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation APA’s Moscow correspondent reports. The CSTO countries, Armenia, Kazakhstan, Belarus, Kirgizstan, Tajikistan, especially Russia have to started work to establish unified missile system.
Prior to Russia-NATO summit in Brussels on December 5, Gerasimov told journalists that the military capabilities of the CSTO countries would be strengthened and unified air defense system would be established.
The Chief of the General Staff didn’t announce when the establishment of the unified missile would be completed, but he said that the military commission of CSTO would be established till the end of this year.
