Armenian Investigative Committee has announced a criminal case initiated against former "Secretary of the Security Council" of the so-called regime Vitaly Balasanyan with the article of illegal possession of weapons, APA reports citing Armenia Today.
Press Secretary of the Investigative Committee Gor Abrahamyan noted that Balasanyan has handed over his Makarov pistol.
He noted that a case has been initiated regarding this fact under Article 335, Part 1 of the Criminal Code of Armenia (illegally acquiring, giving someone else, selling, keeping, transporting, sending or carrying weapons).
Maximum term of imprisonment under this article is three years.
