The remains of the martyr Hormat Baratov, who was believed to have gone missing and whose burial place and identity were determined after 31 years, were handed over to his family, APA reports.
Today the remains of the martyr were brought to Narajan village of Khachmaz district, where he was born. A farewell ceremony was held here.
The remains of the martyr were laid to rest in Narajan village cemetery.
Note that the martyr Hormat Baratov was called up for military service on October 8, 1992. It was reported that he had been missing since October 8, 1993.
It was discovered that Hormat Baratov was buried as an unknown martyr in the Second Alley of Martyrs in Baku, and his identity was determined.
