Tbilisi-APA. Georgia is under war and inflation condition,” Georgian President Mikhail Saakashvli answered questions of citizens via television.
He stated that the world economic crisis had not strong impact on Georgian economy.
“We cannot deny that several jobs were cut and there were problems in giving credits”
Georgia’s leader says he has no plans to call early elections before his term is up in 2013.
He faces criticism over Georgia’s disastrous war with Russia in August, and political opponents want to push him out with an early vote. “Government officials will be dismissed if they hint at August developments”, he said.
Saakashvili called Putin "an uncompromising enemy of Georgia." Putin held several live televised call-in shows as president and another last fall after becoming prime minister.
