Russian President issues decree to ban arms deal with Georgia

Baku. Lachin Sultanova–APA. Russian President Dmitriy Medvedev issued a decree on measures for ban of military and double-assigned goods deals with Georgia. The measures are taken for defending the national interests, said official site of the Russian President, APA reports. Federal executive power bodies, state corporations, unitary enterprises and other legal and physical entities were urged to ban selling and delivering the military equipments, ammunitions and arms, as well as double-assigned goods to Georgia from the day of signing the decree until December 1, 2011.
The Government of Russia was commissioned to make proposals on special economic measures against the foreign countries, organizations and citizens, which sell military goods to Georgia.
