Special representative of Ukrainian President: â€œGas stealer Russia loses $150 million every dayâ€

Kiev â€“ APA. Special representative of Ukrainian President on energy security Bogdan Sokolovski said Gazprom did not have enough gas reserves, thatâ€™s why wanted to appropriate Ukraineâ€™s gas, APA reports quoting UNIAN. Sokolovski said that Ukraine used 75 million cu m gas from its reserves to ensure gas transit to Europe and delivered gas to Bulgaria and Moldova, but Gazprom refused to deliver that gas to Ukraine.
â€œIt means that Russia openly said it wanted to steal Ukraineâ€™s gas,â€ he said.

Bogdan Sokolovski said Russian state and Gazprom did not have enough gas reserves to deliver to the European consumers, thatâ€™s why delays solution of gas problem with Ukraine. He considers that financial and image losses of Russia can not be explained the other way, because by cutting off gas transit to Europe Russia loses $150 million every day, Gazprom has serious financial problems.
