Baku-APA. Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili said on Monday he will attend Tuesday’s test of Georgia’s first unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV), APA reports quoting Ria Novosti.
“Tomorrow I will test our first drone, which has been designed to the highest technological specifications,†Saakashvili said. “More Georgian technology will follow.â€
According to Valery Yakhnovets, the defense minister of the former Georgian republic of South Ossetia, Georgia currently uses Israeli-made Hermes 450S, Skylark I and Skylark II UAVs.
