Armenia’s population number reaches 3 250 thousand

Baku – APA. The number of Armenia’s population reached 3 250 thousand, APA reports quoting News Armenia online source. Armenian National Statistics Service said the number of standard residential population of Armenia increased 12.5 thousand and reached 3 250 thousand until January 1, 2010. 2 081.9 thousand people are living in urban and 1 168.6 thousand in rural areas. Most part of the urban population lives in the country’s capital – Yerevan. There are 1 117 thousand population in Yerevan.
