Baku – APA. Outgoing President Viktor Yushchenko has said he will not attend the inauguration of Viktor Yanukovich, APA reports quoting the Ukrainskaya Pravda. Yushchenko said at the farewell press conference that he was not going to attend Yanukovich’s inauguration. He noted that he wanted to meet with Yanukovich after the inauguration and realize the formal procedures done by the outgoing persons.

Yushchenko advised Yanukovich to be president of all Ukraine. He noted that for the first time president did not get the support of the majority in the elections.
“I do not want Viktor Fyodorovich to be president of only Donbass, seven provinces that supported him. I want Viktor Fyodorovich to fell the responsibility of the mission to achieve the unity of the nation,” he said.

Yushchenko said he would stay in politics, though he hated it.
“I told you I hated politics. My assistants said it was not a right expression. But I reiterate that I hate politics. But I also understand that it is impossible to do good to the state without politics. I know the Ukrainian politicians very well and I would not like to spend most of my time with them. It is in vain. Of course, I will take my political force to the local elections and parliamentary elections,” he said.
