Kiev - APA. Party of Regions leader Viktor Yanukovych on Feb. 10 to Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko’s call to resign and go into opposition, APA reports.

At the same time he urged the participants of the current parliamentary coalition to declare the termination of its activities, to open the way for a new one.
According to Yanukovych, prime minister in opposition to the transition and the formation of a new parliamentary majority - it is the only reasonable scenario of the will of the people and prove that Ukraine is indeed a democratic country.
The leader of the Regions also spoke about his first steps as president. In particular, he promised to conduct a full audit of the financial and economic situation in the country.
In addition, he proposed to start a public debate on possible reform of the state system of Ukraine.
According to the CEC, Yanukovich won the second round of presidential elections. However, his rival - Yulia Tymoshenko - has refused to concede defeat.
