Sergei Mironov denies his removal from speaker’s post

Moscow – APA. Leader of the Fair Russia Party Sergei Mironov said existed legislature didn’t allow his removal from the speaker’s post over the disputes between him and Prime Minister Valdimir Putin. Speaker of the Council of Federation Mironov said that Putin’s party is free to make any statement. He said he didn’t welcome the government’s anti-crisis measures and draft budget.

The United Russia Party is going to make proposal to remove Sergei Mironov from the post of the speaker of the Council of Federation because he doesn’t support Vladimir Putin’s social initiatives. Prime Minister Putin is a leader of the United Russia.

Officials of the United Russia Party Andrei Vorobyov and Andrei Isaev also supported the idea of Mironov’s withdrawal from the speaker’s post. Vorobyov called his position as disrespect against Putin, who does great work for Russia, and said they intended to begin proceedings for Mironov’s removal. Isaev recommended to Mironov to resign from this post, where he elected with the support of the United Russia.
