A group of Armenians beat Azerbaijani student in Moscow
In the interview to APA Russian reporter, victim’s father Shahin Alanov said that after the lectures his son had partaken in the internet forum. The subject of the forum was a sovereignty and flag of “Nagorno Garabagh Republicâ€.
In the forum the participants were offered to vote pro and con. A. Aslanli voted con. He substantiated his choice with the facts that the international community acknowledges Azerbaijan’s territorial integrity as well as Nagorno Karabagh and other occupied by Armenia lands, as inseparable parts of Azerbaijan.
An Armenian girl, who is A. Aslanli’s fellow student, insulted both Aslanli for his choice as well as Azerbaijan people in general.
Besides it, that girl promised to spread Ali’s choice amongst all Armenian students and pay him back. Two days after that incident Ali encountered the Armenian girl in the university. The Armenian girl displayed aggression toward Ali and insulted both him and all Azerbaijanis again.
Later, the Armenian girl told something in Armenian two students (boys). The boys came up to Ali and asked him to stay too long after the exams.
After the exams Ali met those Armenians in the bulk again. The Armenians asked Ali to come out and then took him to other bulk, where a group of Armenians were waiting for him.
Armenians surrounded Ali and demanded him to yield up the position that he adheres in Nagorno Garabagh-related internet forum, and acknowledge “NGR†independence.
Upon Ali’s rejection Taron Mkirtichian, Samvel Rakhchanian, Ernst Petrosian, Vagan Galstian, Agvan Vardanian, Roman Sagovian, and Arsen Popov started beating Ali brutally. The Armenian girl, whose name is unknown, was in the incident cite as well.
Having been beaten Ali lost consciousness. When Ali regained consciousness he managed to leave the university yard and called his father.
Ali’s father immediately arrived and took his son to the state clinic hospital #33, where Ali up to present has received a treatment due to physical injuries and craniocerebral trauma.
We note that Ali’s father S. Aslanov appealed to the Russian president Dmitri Medvedyev, attorney-general Y. Chayka, Moscow attorney Y. Siomin, and other officials of the Office of Public Prosecutor. In his letter S. Aslanov asked to investigate this act of vandalism, punish all guilty men, and protect Russian citizen’s rights. For the purpose of objective investigation of the incident, S. Aslanov sent the letter to the Embassy of Azerbaijan to Russian Federation and Azerbaijani Diaspora organizations in Russia as well. University rector Nikolay Volodin called S. Aslanov and said that he would assume the serious measures and expel the guilty students from the university.
After the incident, Armenian students’ parents numerously called and threatened S. Aslanov.
The representatives of Azerbaijani embassy to Russia, Association of Azerbaijan-Russia Youth, and other Azerbaijani Diaspora Organizations paid visit to the victim.
