Latvian President pays official visit to Georgia

Tbilisi. Nizami Mammadzadeh – APA. President of Latvia Valdis Zalters has arrived in Georgia for a two-day official visit, APA’s Georgia bureau reports. Latvian President started his official visit by meeting with head of Ajarian government Levan Varshalomidze. Latvia’s investing in Ajaria’s economy was discussed at the meeting. A business-forum has also been held in Batumi today. 65 Latvian businessmen, who had come to Georgia together with Latvian President, also attended the forum. They acquainted themselves with the investment potential of Ajaria. Latvian President is expected to meet with Georgian President Mikhail Saakashvili. The visitor will attend Georgia-Latvia business-forum in Tbilisi. Latvian President Valdis Zatlers will leave Georgia for Armenia.
