Dow Jones fell 0.3%, S&P 500 â€“ 0.04%, Nasdaq risesâ€“ 0.08%

Baku â€“ APAâ€“Economics. The Dow Jones industrial fell 0.3% to 8744 in the US stock exchange on July 17. S&P 500 fell 0.04% and reached 940.38. The Nasdaq rose 0.08% to 1887.

According to APA-Economics, US corporative quarter reports had an impact on the exchanges. Google lost 2.8%, Citigroup â€“ 0.3%, Bank of America â€“ 2.4%, General Electric â€“ 6%.

In the European markets, UK’s FTSE 100 rose 0.62 percent, to close at 4388,75 France’s CAC-40 â€“ 0.59 percent, to close at 3218.46, Germany’s DAX index â€“ 0.43 percent, to close at 4978.40.

In the financial sector, HSBC gained 1.6%, BNP Paribas â€“ 0.6%, BP â€“ 0.6%, Royal Dutch Shell and Total â€“ respectively 0.9% and 1.5%.

The dollar price against euro was 1.4141 (+0.12%).
