Baku-APA.Three people were killed in a labor accident in Turkey's western province of Manisa on Thursday, APA reports quoting Dogan News Agency.
The accident occurred at a waste water pumping facility inside an industrial zone in Manisa, said the report.
One technician fell into the waste water pool after he was affected by the toxic gas inside the facility during maintenance work.
The other two technicians working near the site then jumped inside the pool to help him but both drowned.
An investigation has been launched into the incident.
The accident happened only a month after Turkey's biggest ever mining disaster in Soma, which killed 301 workers, also in the province of Manisa.
