Baku – APA. President Hassan Rouhani said on Friday that elections are now regarded as manifestation of political independence in the country, IRNA reported.
President Rouhani made the remarks after casting his votes for the fifth round of Assembly of Experts and the 10th parliament election on Friday morning.
Iranian people will make decision on their fate through casting their votes.
The reports indicate that a secured election is now underway in the country and people have participated with enthusiasm, said President Rouhani.
Elections are now regarded as symbol of political independence and national sovereignty, he added.
