Baku-APA. Nepal's President Ram Baran Yadav on Monday appealed the people to cast their votes on Tuesday's Constituent Assembly (CA) election, President's office said in press statement, APA reports quoting Xinhua.

The head of the state said that there is no alternative to CA election to fulfill the long-standing dream of Nepali people to draft a new constitution from their own hand.

Referring to the obstruction of CPN-Maoist, President Yadav said that all the parties should respect the people's right to cast their votes though poll-opposing parties deserve the right to boycott the election.

"I have a firm believe that political parties, candidates and common people will utilize their votes in the election," President said in a press statement.

"CA election is taking place at a critical juncture after the dissolution of previous CA. We have to give a message to international community that Nepalese are able to draft a new constitution."

On the same day, Chief Election Commissioner Neel Kantha Uprety also appealed people to exercise their voting rights without any fear and insecurity. "We have completed all the preparations for the election, we have arranged complete security across the country," said Upreti in a televised press conference.

Nepal is holding second CA election on Tuesday with a purpose of drafting a new constitution after the CA elected in 2008 failed to draft a new constitution.
