Israel’s Security Cabinet on Friday rejected a draft agreement on a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip, demanding that amendments be introduced, Israeli television cited a well-informed government source as saying.
Palestinian medical sources reported on Friday that Israeli attacks coming from air, sea and on the ground had claimed 41 Palestinian lives in Gaza Strip since dawn.
The death toll from Israeli air strikes at HAMAS objectives in Gaza has reached 838 since July 8 when Israel launched its Protective Edge operation. About 5,000 Palestinians have been wounded. Six Palestinians have died and dozens have been injured in anti-war clashes with Israeli soldiers in the West Bank of Jordan over the past 24 hours.
