Tehran. Suleyman Farzaliyev – APA. The Guardian Council of Iran has sent the final list of approved candidates for the next parliamentary election to the Interior Ministry.
The candidates are officially allowed to begin their week-long campaigns from Feb. 18.
The campaign will last till Feb. 24.
51% of 12,000 candidates have been approved for the parliamentary elections.
Though Iranian officials announced that all political groups are represented in the elections, several groups protested that candidacy of the representatives have not been approved.
