Baku-APA. An explosion rocked a pro- government district of Syria's central province of Homs on Tuesday, causing undisclosed number of casualties, APA reports quoting the official SANA news agency.

The blast, carried by a booby-trapped car, struck Homs' Wadi al- Dahab district, said SANA, without giving further details.

Meanwhile, the pro-government Sham FM radio reported that at least one people was killed, and ten others wounded.

Homs, Syria's third largest city, was among the first cities to sympathize with the anti-government movement but the Syrian troops has recently recaptured areas of the province used to be seized by the rebels.
