Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi said the relations between the United States and China "are at a critical juncture," state media outlet Xinhua reported on Saturday. Wang made the remarks during a meeting with the US Ambassador to China Nicholas Burns, APA reports citing Teletrader.
Wang added that the two countries cannot change each other and that the US "should stop trying to deal with China from a position of strength and stop trying to suppress and contain China's development." Meanwhile, Burns expressed a willingness to "strengthen communication with China, manage differences, and advance cooperation."
