Chinese Central Foreign Affairs Commission Office Director Wang Yi warned United States Secretary of State Antony Blinken that Washington should seek to fix damages done to its relations with Beijing, the Far Eastern country's foreign ministry said in a statement posted on its website, APA reports citing Teletrader.
During the two diplomats' meeting, Wang, according to the statement, informed Blinken of China's stance toward the US downing several aerial objects earlier this week. He stressed that Washinton should face the consequences of its actions.
Earlier, during the Munich Security Conference, Wang described the US's decision to down some of the vehicles that entered its airspace as "absurd and hysterical."
