Besides the search and rescue work, removing the rubbles using heavy equipment has also started in Türkiye, APA reprots citing NTV.
Before the process, the samples are taken from the rubble, and the ruins caused by the earthquake are cleaned.
Note that a 7.4-magnitude earthquake was recorded in central Türkiye on Monday. The quake’s epicenter was located 26 km away from the city of Gaziantep, with a population of about 1.06 million. The source of the earthquake was 7 km below the surface.
Türkiye declared a state of emergency in the areas affected by the earthquake.
