"A fairer world is possible,” Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said this at the first plenary session of the 16th BRICS Summit in the Outreach/BRICS+ format in the city of Kazan, APA's correspondent assigned to Kazan reports.
The Turkish President said that Türkiye is expanding cooperation with African and Caribbean countries: “We intend to expand our cooperation with the BRICS family as well.”
Recep Tayyip Erdogan emphasized that the bloodshed in the Middle East should be stopped: “The establishment of a Palestinian state with East Jerusalem as its capital is the key to peace in our region. In this sense, I call on the countries that do not recognize Palestine to recognize Palestine.”
Türkiye’s President urged countries to stop supplying arms to Israel.
