Turkish National Defense Minister Hulusi Akar met with the Defense Minister of Pakistan Khawaja Mohammad Asif, APA's correspondent in Istanbul reports citing the Turkish National Defense Ministry.
According to the information, following the bilateral meeting, the ministers chaired the meeting held between delegations.
During the meeting, they discussed bilateral relations, regional defense, and security issues, as well as exchanged views on opportunities for cooperation in the defense industry.
Minister Akar stressed the deep ties between Turkey and Pakistan and stressed the importance of further expanding military cooperation between the two countries.
