South Korea will send a delegation to Ukraine

South Korea’s Power of the People party will send a delegation to Ukraine in June, APA reports citing BB-CNTV.

The party of South Korea “People’s Power” spoke about plans to send a delegation to Ukraine in order to express Kyiv support against the background of the ongoing military conflict with Russia. The visit is to take place in June.

The chairman of the party, Lee Jun Sok, as well as a number of deputies, are going to visit Ukraine. The party also noted that they sympathize with the situation in which the Ukrainians are, and expressed hope for a speedy establishment of peace. The Power of the People emphasized that their party is the first in Asia to send its delegates to Kyiv. The exact date of the visit has not yet been set.

Former German President Joachim Gauck explained the need to supply weapons to Kyiv, saying that they are necessary to strengthen its defense capability. At the same time, he noted that politicians should continue to negotiate with the President of Russia, Vladimir Putin.
