On April 26, Kyodo News reported that Kishida intends to travel abroad.
According to the Japanese Foreign Ministry, Foreign Minister Yoshimasa Hayashi will also pay a visit.
He will visit Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and Mongolia from April 28 to May 2, and the Pacific island nations of Fiji and Palau from May 6 to 8.
