The Japanese government has imposed new sanctions on the Russian Federation, APA reports citing Reuters.

The sanctions list includes more than 130 individuals and 70 companies.

Japan's sanctions list includes 133 people, including Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin, Deputy Secretary of the Security Council Rashid Nurgaliyev, leaders of the unrecognized Luhansk and Donetsk People's Republics, as well as relatives of businessman Gennady Timchenko.

The Japanese government has also imposed a number of export restrictions. The sanctions will affect Russian defense-related companies and organizations, including Almaz-Antey and the Tactical Missile Corporation.

A total of 70 companies have been added to the sanctions list.

Japan has previously announced a series of sanctions against the Russian Federation over the situation around Ukraine.

In Russia, officials, officials and businessmen have been subjected to individual sanctions. The list of prohibited goods and technologies includes 300 items of equipment.

These include semiconductors, marine and aviation security equipment, telecommunications equipment, communications equipment, military products, including weapons, software, and oil email equipment.
