Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida urged on Saturday the citizens of his country that are currently in Ukraine to leave that country amid fears Russia could invade it in the near future, APA reports citing Tele Trader.
"We called on Japanese citizens to leave Ukraine because of the unpredictability of the situation. We will act depending on how the situation develops in the future," the prime minister told reporters.
The Japanese Foreign Ministry previously issued a warning and advised the Asian country's nationals to leave Ukraine.
