For the first time, Iran's Ministry of Security (MOIS) and the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps' security department (SEPAH) published a joint statement regarding the recent riots in Iran, APA's Tehran bureau reports.
According to the statement, based on available information, the recent riots were carried out by the spy services via various organizations and networks as part of a project package.
Iran has accused the intelligence services of the United States, the United Kingdom, Israel, and Saudi Arabia of "playing a key role" in the militants' activities.
The information also said that training courses were held in countries including Turkiye, the Czech Republic, the Republic of South Africa, Italy, Seychelles, Armenia, Georgia, Malaysia, UAE, Netherlands, Malaysia, Indonesia, and Thailand.
