Iranian President Massoud Pezeshkian accused the West of lying and vowed that Israel's crimes would not go unanswered, APA reports citing foreign press.
“The crimes committed by the Israeli government will not go unanswered. Israel’s crimes will not go unanswered. By killing Hasan Nasrullah, Israel has shown once again that it does not follow any international norms. Giving opportunities to such criminals encourages them to commit more crimes,” Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian said.
According to him, promises by the United States and European countries that a ceasefire agreement will be reached if Iran does not respond to the assassination of Ismail Haniyeh, secretary general of the Hamas Political Bureau in Tehran, turned out to be false.
