The Iranian foreign ministry on Tuesday summoned the United Kingdom ambassador in Tehran to convey Iran's strong protest to the baseless accusations leveled by London against Tehran, APA reports citing Mehr News Agency.
It was noted that following the continuation of the UK regime's accusations against the Islamic Republic of Iran, Simon Shercliff, the British ambassador in Tehran, was summoned to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs by the Director General of the Western Europe Department this afternoon, and Iran's strong protest was conveyed to him.
