EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy- Vice-President of the European Commission Josep Borrell will pay an official visit to Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan, APA reports.
His visit will continue from 16 November to 19. As a part of his visit Josep Borrell will meet with Foreign Minister of Kazakhstan Mukhtar Tileuberdi and President Kasım-Jomart Tokayev on 16-17 November.
EU High Representative will visit Uzbekistan and will host meeting which will be held with the participation of the Foreign Ministers of Central Asia countries on November 17. He will hold meetings with the MFAs of Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan separately on November 17 and 18, 2022 in Samarkand, Uzbekistan.
Borrell will also meet with the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev in the framework of his visit to region on November 18. He will also host the Samarkand EU-Central Asia Connectivity Conference: Global Gateway.
His visit will end on November 19.
