"There is a special love for Azerbaijan in Kahramanmaraş. The Azerbaijani state, our brothers, did not remain indifferent even after the earthquake, and proposed the implementation of a joint project here," Kahramanmaraş Governor Mükerrem Ünlüer told journalists, APA's Istanbul correspondent reports.
He noted that the Azerbaijani state covered the $105 million part of the joint project: "Not only houses but a residential area with a school, a cultural center, and other social facilities is being built here."
