Omer Celik, a spokesman for Turkey's ruling Justice and Development Party (AKP), reacted harshly to a bill submitted to parliament by Garo Paylan, a member of the Turkish Grand National Assembly from the People's Democratic Party (HDP), to recognize the so-called "Armenian genocide,” Omer Celik posted on a Twitter account, APA’s Turkish correspondent reports.
It is a slanderous and immoral proposal against the Turkish nation, Ö. Celik said.
According to him, this proposal is also an attempt to sabotage the normalization process between Turkey and Armenia, which is supported by Azerbaijan.
