After treacherous attack, Republic Day celebrations in Ankara and Izmir canceled

The Ankara Metropolitan Municipality (ABB) announced that all events planned for the Republic Day celebrations have been canceled due to the terrorist attack, APA reports citing Haberler.com.

In a statement made by ABB, it was stated, "All events planned for the Republic Day celebrations have been canceled due to the treacherous terrorist attack that took place in our Kahramankazan district. We pray for our martyrs and wish a speedy recovery to the injured."

Following Ankara, a cancellation decision also came from Izmir. In a statement from the Izmir Metropolitan Municipality, the following was stated: "Attention to our valued citizens; all concerts and entertainment events organized by our municipality have been canceled due to the treacherous terrorist attack in our capital, Ankara. We once again condemn the terrorism that aims to undermine our unity and solidarity, pray for our martyrs, and extend our condolences to all citizens."
