2 people pulled alive from debris in  Türkiye

Two people were saved from the rubble in n the 261st hour of the earthquake in Türkiye's Hayat region, APA reports citing Anadolu Agency.

26-year-old Mehmet Ali Shakiroglu and 34-year-old Mustafa Avci were pulled out alive under the rubble in the 261st hour of the quake in the central Antakya region of Hatay.

The rescued persons were buried under the ruins of a private hospital in the Odabaşı neighborhood. The search and rescue team found them alive while working on the wreckage.

Note that a 7.4-magnitude earthquake was recorded in central Türkiye on Monday. The quake’s epicenter was located 26 km away from the city of Gaziantep with a population of about 1.06 million. The source of the earthquake was 7 km below the surface.
