Foreign ministers approve Final Declaration of Tehran Summit

Baku. Konul Jafarli â€“ APA. The Final Declaration of the 16th summit of the Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) in Tehran was adopted unanimously at the foreign ministersâ€™ meeting. APA reports quoting IRIB that the initial text of the document was confirmed by a working group. Presiding over the meeting, Iranian Foreign Minister Ali Akbar Salehi said that his country is committed to main principles: â€œWe consider the fundamental principles as the main beacon for determining our position in international arena. Now there are some problems of globalization. Differences and conflicts impact the other spheres. Thatâ€™s why the confrontations must be settled peacefully.â€

Issues on policy, science, trade, nuclear weapon, terror and security were reflected in the Final Declaration. The document also condemned the interference in domestic affairs of independent countries, threats, terror, using mass media for tendentious purposes, murder of Palestinian women and children and US unilateral sanctions against Syria.
