Chairman of the Caucasus Muslims Office, Sheikh-ul-Islam Allahshukur Pashazade, will depart for the Republic of Uzbekistan on July 6, the Caucasus Muslims Office told APA.
It has been reported that the purpose of the visit is to participate in the 1st International Islamic Forum on the theme "Islamic Civilization: A Path of Peace, Tolerance, and Enlightenment," to be held from July 7 to 11 in the cities of Tashkent and Samarkand, Republic of Uzbekistan, under the joint organization of ISESCO and the Center for Islamic Civilization of Uzbekistan.
The visit, which will take place at the invitation of ISESCO Director-General Salim M. Al Malik and Director of the Center for Islamic Civilization of Uzbekistan Firdavs Abdulkhalikov, includes a series of events.
The program includes the forum at the Center for Islamic Civilization of Uzbekistan, one of the largest humanitarian and cultural-educational projects implemented in the 21st century, the opening of the new Imam al-Bukhari Memorial Complex in Samarkand, visits to the International Research Centers named after Imam al-Bukhari, Imam al-Tirmidhi and Imam al-Maturidi, as well as three international conferences and other events dedicated to the spiritual, scientific and intellectual heritage of these figures.
