Syrians stage sit-in to protest against EU sanctions on Syrian companies

Baku-APA. Syrians, carrying Syrian flags and photos of Syrian President Bashar Assad, stage a sit-in in front of the offices of Addounia TV channel on the airport highway near Damascus, Syria on Sept. 26, 2011, to support the channel that was hit by new EU sanctions, APA reports quoting Xinhua. The European Union agreed to impose sanctions on six Syrian companies to intensify pressure on Assad on Saturday.
