Baku-APA. An earthquake measuring 5.2 on the Richter scale jolted off the east coast of Honshu, Japan at 1754 GMT Saturday, the U.S. Geological Survey said, APA reports citing Xinhua.

The epicenter, with a depth of 24.10 km, was initially determined to be at 40.28 degrees north latitude and 143.18 degrees east longitude.
