3000 missing, 2000 killed in Syrian unrests

Baku – APA. Nearly 3000 people have become missing since mass protests against the Bashar Asad’s government began in Syria, said non-governmental organization Afaz, APA reports with reference to An-Nil website.
2918 people became missing during the unrests, 26 000 people were arrested and 12.5 thousand of them are still behind the bars. About 1000 people were arrested last week.
According to Afaz, 1634 people were killed in the unrests. Death toll among the militaries and security forces reached 340.
