Iranian president to attend opening of second Lake Urmia Bridge

Baku. Suleyman Farzaliyev â€“ APA. Iranian president Mahmoud Ahmadinejad and other government officials will visit Western Azerbaijan province of Azerbaijan on April 7, said Governor of the Western Azerbaijan province Vahid Jalalzadeh, APA reports quoting IRNA. He said the president would meet with the residents of the city of Urmia and participate at the opening ceremonies of a number of new projects, as well as the second Lake Urmia Bridge.

The president will discuss the development prospects of the province of Western Azerbaijan with the government officials. They will visit 17 cities of the province, meet with the representatives of the public community and learn their problems. It will be Ahmadinejadâ€™s fourth visit to the province of Western Azerbaijan during his presidency.
