Musicologist, Honored Art Worker, and professor Aida Taghizade has passed away at the age of 91, musicologist, Honored Art Worker, and professor Zumrud Dadashzade told APA.
She stated that the late scholar passed away this morning.
Note that Aida Zeynal Taghizade was born on February 5, 1934, in the city of Shusha. Since 1958, she had been working at the Baku Music Academy (BMA). From 1996 to 2007, she continued her professional activity at Bilkent University in Ankara, Türkiye. She is the author of several monographs and nearly 100 articles.
