Young artistsâ€™ exhibition held in Baku

Baku. Kamala Guliyeva â€“APA. An exhibition of the young artists was organized in the Vajiha Samadova Gallery on the occasion of February 2, the Youth Day. More than 100 works created by more than 70 young artists are demonstrated at the exhibition organized by the ministries of Youth and Sport, Culture and Tourism and the Artists Union, APA reports. Chairman of the Artists Union Farhad Khalilov said all spheres of the art â€“ painting, graphics, sculpture and carpet weaving were covered in the exhibition. The catalogue of the demonstrated works will be prepared as a result of exhibition.
Deputy Minister of Youth and Sport Intigam Babayev said one of the main directions of youth policy in the country was to discover the young talents. The deputy minister said awarding the young artists and granting them with the presidential fellowship was a result of governmentâ€™s appreciation of the young people.
