Group of artists join parliament member Gular Ahmadovaâ€™s address

Baku. Kamala Guliyeva â€“APA. A group of well-known artists of Azerbaijan issued a statement, which supports the parliament member Gular Ahmadovaâ€™s address about removing of programs negatively impacted on the national-spiritual values from the private TV channels. The artists send the text of their statement to APA.
They expressed concern over the show programs on private TV channels, which damage the national spirit and Azerbaijani ideas. â€œWe, the artists, who made weighty contribution to Azerbaijani art, are joining the support campaign for the Gular Ahmadovaâ€™s speech at the parliament to bring the national traditions carried out by national leader Heydar Aliyev since 1960s and successfully developed by the president of the country Ilham Aliyev and Azerbaijani policy to the air space. We are calling on to remove the programs, contrary to our national spirit, and TV presenters preferred foreign music and foreign performers from the air of TV channelsâ€, the artists said in the statement.
